Everyone has a “why” that drives them to do something. Whether it’s difficult circumstances that propel them to search for answers, a sudden interest, or a longtime dream—there is always a story behind it.
For me, it was a number of circumstances that led me to question our way of living. But ultimately, it was when my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer about four years ago that truly began a spiral of change that would eventually affect every part of our lives.
I remember asking the Lord for wisdom before we decided on any treatments for my mom—for another path, one of healing, and for Him to reveal what we needed to change.
And wisdom He gave. The Lord answered and led me to a myriad of people who had already walked this narrow road and were sharing
their knowledge. The first thing we did was go through every toxic product in our house and throw it out. We scoured our cabinets and read the labels for the first time, discarding things we had used for years and starting fresh with simple, natural items.
This little guide was inspired when I was recently asked for recommendations for natural cleaning products. I owe everything to God for what He has done for my family. I truly can’t take credit for any of this—I am simply grateful that He opened my eyes and led me to so many others who were already making these changes in their
own lives.
All of the products included here are ones I currently use. I wouldn’t recommend anything I haven’t personally tried and use in my own home. I hope this guide blesses you and your home! Remember, it’s never about perfection—it's about starting with what you know and growing little by little each day.♡
