Aside from reading the Bible, I also always love to have a good book (or three) on hand to read. My interests have changed throughout the years as I have grown, but my love for learning and being inspired to create has always remained.
I usually have a cookbook on my table for days I need a little inspiration on what to make for lunch or dinner. I get so many ideas from different people I like to follow and love trying new recipes.
I don't typically read many fictional books as much, but when I do it's usually the tea mystery audio books, anything that involves food and cooking (lol), sweet innocent love, or stories that take place in Italy or Europe.
I'll admit these books that I have been reading lately are non-fictional topics like health and education that I was never interested in until recently when circumstances in my life were affected and I really started researching and seeking truth.
Though this list is small, I wanted to be true to what I actually read, enjoyed and only recommend books that align with my values. These books were so incredibly rich in wisdom, researched well, spoken from the heart-- they are all underlined, highlighted, and have folded edges. Yes I knoooow, I totally mistreat my books-- another reason why I must buy my own and not borrow! Lol. Rather, I think if a book is this used up, it was very well loved, and learned from.
These would be great as gifts to the avid readers in your life-- or yourself :) Happy Reading!
