36 years on this earth today, and embracing the season I’m in as a wife and mama. This is the part where I can go on and tell you to live your best life right now and make the most of it-- but truthfully none of it would matter. What I will say is that in 36 years of my life, many seasons did come-- hardships, celebrations, people, jobs etc, but eventually they also came to an end.

And I've realized that the only thing that never changed was how the Lord held onto me. Even when I wandered—He never let go.

Everything about our lives shouts now, now,—but that’s the thing, the party eventually will be over and we’re left with the mess we’ve made.

But can I tell you something that the world never will? With Jesus— everything is made new. You can have a relationship with the Creator who thought of you before time existed— and your best life isn’t here-- but yet to come in eternity.

Don’t settle for the lies of this world— because all it has to offer ends on this earth. Entrust your soul to the One that gave His very life for you so that you can have abundant life beyond our time here. Will it be hard at times? Absolutely. Will the road be lonely and sorrowful? Most likely. But I promise you this… the direction the Lord guides you will give you peace beyond anything anyone else can offer.

36 years old today but more alive than I’ve ever been. Cling to what is good, embrace where God has you, and trust that He is making all things work together for your good.

Grateful for another year of His blessings and the opportunity to praise Him!

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. ~ Romans 8:28
