I've always loved all of the details that pertain to Prom. The pretty dresses to choose from, the choice of heels, which sparkly jewelry to wear....and the list goes on and on! It's a day of excitement that you get to enjoy with your high school friends before you graduate, and everyone looks glamourous. Laura's Mom and Sister wanted to surprise her with a portrait session before she headed off to her Senior Prom, and so I shot a few in her home.
Our town has a big block party, where the students and their dates are announced and get to walk on the blue carpet for everyone to see, right before their limos and party buses whisk them away for the night. Laura looked absolutely stunning and ready to go to the Oscars in the beautiful dress she chose... needless to say it made me want to dress up and go to prom all over again!
