Birthday Boy

My little brother turned 11 today...and he's almost my height. I still remember when we took him home and we fell in love with his chubby red cheeks and locks of dark hair. Sometimes he would wake us all up in the middle of the night with his cries and my mom would heat him up some Chamomile for his stomachache. Resembling a bunny rabbit, he would be curled up in my arms and I would walk around the room to quiet him down.
I remember when he was around three years old, chubby little legs running around in a diaper, he would slam on his drum set until you couldn't carry on a conversation with the person standing next to you anymore. One time the noise stopped and that could only mean one thing when you don't hear a child for a while....WHAT DID HE DO. So I make my way down the stairs and I see him waddling his way to me....covered in baby powder. With the cutest voice he lifts up his power ranger light up sneaker and says, " Look! New Shewwwwssss!!!!!!!"...I was done. Despite the mess how could you not laugh at that cuteness?! Nowadays he's much taller and may I add much more annoying...but the cute face turned into a handsome little stud...as well as an awesome photography assistant!! ;) Here are a few photos I took of him the other day. Happy Birthday....you'll always be my lil Danino! <3

Styebound: Summer Stripes

I'm pretty sure the last time I posted about Stylebound (posts dedicated to my favorite outfits and fashion inspiration) was sometime last February. The weather was beautiful yesterday evening and so I decided to take a few photos of pieces I'm wearing right now. I have also been practicing with my 50mm 1.8 lens and the more I use it, the more I fall in love with it. The shallow depth of field is so beautiful and creates a stunning bokeh effect. I hope you're having a great weekend! Happy Saturday!

The Happiest Place on Earth: Walt Disney World

No matter what age you are, you can be sure to always find your inner child at Walt Disney World. Whether it be Mickey, Goofy or a Disney princess greeting you, the fun food options adorned with Disney characters, the awesome rides or the fantastic fireworks show at night----it really is a magical playground.
The last time I visited Disney World I was about 9 years old, so you can imagine how super excited I was to go back. We stayed at the Port Orleans Riverside Resort in Disney, and with the jazz music playing in the background at breakfast, to the outfits the crew wore...it really gave the feeling you were in New Orleans, Louisiana. After my sister and I both bought our much needed sparkly Minnie Mouse ears...we headed out to the parks. Epcot's new Soarin' ride was the most realistic ride I've ever been on. With the seats lifting you up and the wind and smells breezing past you (oh and I can't forget my dad's laughter/yells =P) it was unbelievable. If you visit, just be sure to get a fastpass---it is much needed =). I also loved loved loved the World Showcase and want to go back again just to spend more time visiting each country.
It is just no visit without riding the Hollywood Tower of Terror at Hollywood Studios. I literally lost my voice from screaming each time the elevator dropped (proof was in the photo they snapped of us, my sister smiling---me, eyes shut and yelling at the top of my lungs.) But don't worry it's just a typical reaction from me, it was super fun =). We then visited the most magical park... Magic Kingdom! I kept looking for secret entrances to go up into the castle, but no such luck. Fantasyland is the new part of Disney that just opened, and it was one of my favorites. It actually looked like you were walking through the town in the movie Tangled. They had Arielle's castle and even Gaston's Tavern from Beauty and the Beast
Our resort had small ferries which would take us down to Downtown Disney, which was really nice at night. Okay okay I'll stop before I give a description of every single thing in Disney....can you tell how much I loved it? =P Walt Disney truly had a wonderful imagination to begin something so incredible. I already can't wait to go back! Here are a few photos I took during my stay...enjoy and Happy Friday!! =D

Sweet Love: Sean & Ashley

Everyone has a story. Ashley knew of Sean through mutual friends and heard countless stories of how incredibly funny he was. It wasn't until the day of their friends wedding rehearsal where they saw each other in person though. Sean was struck by how beautiful she was and eventually started a conversation. "He told me I looked like Uma Thurman..." Ashley laughed as she retold the memory. Time passed by as they spoke about their future goals and passions...and with everyday fell more and more in love.
Sean planned the perfect proposal on the beach, with a seaside dinner and light torches to light the way...it was all set. But when high tide made it too difficult to walk along the water...the plan seemed to be ruined. Just when Sean was about to walk away, Ashley stopped and looked at the ground. Confused she read a few washed away letters written on the sand, "Marry...Someone spelled Mary with two r's...". After a few seconds she dropped her bucket of seashells and realized the letters actually were a sentence spelling out "Will you marry me?".
She turned to see Sean on his knee...can you guess what happened next? She said yes of course! I had so much fun with these two during their photo session. Sean knew all of the poses before I even asked them to do anything! Makes me wonder if he studied any posing techniques or maybe was a model at some point. ;) Sean and Ashley congratulations, you were amazing to work with!

They weren't afraid to get a little silly =)
A beautiful couple
Kisses!
His graceful dancing skills would make any girl swoon...Ashley you're one lucky girl! ;)
